World War I U.S. Medal Group, including: Silver Star, Purple Heart, and U.S. Victory Medal with 5 bars; Silver Star and Purple Heart both named and numbered on very early split wrap brooches, both with locking clasps; U.S. Victory medal with five bars: Montdidier-Meuse, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne, Defense Sector. The Silver Star is named to Charles Hackmuth and numbered 3399. The Purple Heart is named to Charles Hachmuth and numbered 3855. The Purple Heart has been on the market separately. The Victory has also been on the market separately, accompanied by a French Croix de Guerre, Verdun Medal, and another French medal.There is no guarantee that these medals belonged to the same man, although the Purple Heart and Victory do represent the confirmed awards of Charles Hachmuth of Alameda, California, and the Silver Star is absolutely correct and original. Processing and shipping within the Continental United States $25.00, plus 1.5% replacement cost/insurance.

Condition:

The Silver Star is excellent, plus; the Purple Heart is excellent; the Victory Medal shows minor wear. The ribbon bar shows wear.
