US 1913 Patton Saber Sword dated 1918 in Scabbard

An excellent Landers, Frary, and Clark US Model 1913 Patton Saber and scabbard. The sword is marked on the ricasso, “LF&C” with an Ordnance flaming bomb, over “1918.” The reverse side is stamped “US” with an eagle’s head. The sword has the large black hard rubber washer/pad between basket guard and scabbard. Dimensions: The blade is 35.375 inches long. The sword in its scabbard is 43 inches long overall. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. 

 

 

Condition:

About excellent overall, with minor black staining on the blade about half way down.
