Union Soldiers with Bowie Knives, Sixth Plate Tintype

A nice sixth plate tintype of two Union soldiers in shell jackets and forage caps, with an 1816 musket, and both with knives in their belts. The soldier on the left actually has two knives in his belt! The soldier on the right is wearing his cartridge box and waist belt with an oval WBP. The plates and both soldiers’ buttons are touched with gold paint. The image is in a half leatherette case. Dimensions: 3 1/8 x 3 ¾ in the case. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. 

 

Condition:
