A very handsome sixth plate tintype of a New York soldier wearing a shell jacket, forage cap, and carrying his bayonetted musket, with a bowie knife in his belt. The musket appears to be an 1816. The image has an attractive gold matte, and is in a half leatherette case. Dimensions: 3 1/8 x 3 ¾ inches in case. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
