Simmons & Howell Superposed Double Barrel Flintlock Pistol

Interesting English made superposed double barrel flintlock pistol. 3-1/2 inch round barrels bored .45 caliber. Left side of frame has a selector lever that rotates drum inside pan, changing the “flash hole” from the top to bottom barrel. Folding dagger style blade mounted to bottom barrel. Left side of frame marked “ SIMMONS & HOWELL” One-piece solid walnut grip. British proof marks found on bottom barrel lug. CONDITION: Very good with an overall, clean “dove grey patina. Bores are good showing modest abrasion. Action is tight and crisp. Grips are solid showing moderate wear. A most interesting flintlock pocket pistol.  Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $35.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
