Severin Roesen (1816-1872) Still Life Painting

Framed Severin Roesen (1816-1872) oval still life oil on canvas mounted to aluminum core panel painting. Signed and dated (1855) lower center. Conserved by Bear Pond Studio (1982). Roesen, originally a porcelain painter, was known for his floral and fruit still life paintings.

Dimensions: 30.5"h x 25"w; 39.25"h x 34"w.

Provenance: Purchased by Dorothy and Ernest Latham 1973 from ROAN, Inc. (estate of Julia Wagner, Williamsport, PA) thence by family descent.

Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $300.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition:
