Pat Garrett's Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle

PAT GARRETT’S WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 LEVER ACTION RIFLE.

Serial no. 25530 for 1899, .30 US caliber 28 inch round blued barrel. Ramped rear-sight. Schnabel fore-end with ebony insert. Gold (?) plaque engraved in script Pat Garrett / Las Cruces. Condition: Very Good to Fine. Thinning blue to barrel and frame. Stock with marks commensurate with age.

Provenance: descended through the family to Jarvis Garrett; sold to Calvin Moerbe of Round Rock, TX, 1978 (letter dated August 20, 1983); sold to Jim and Theresa Earle, July 1983 at Round Rock.
