Parker Bros. Damascus Double Barreled 12 Gauge Shotgun

A very handsome and finely made 12 gauge double barreled outside hammer shotgun by Parker Bros. of Meridien, Connecticut, serial number 39283, made in 1884. This is a high grade shotgun, probably a “B” grade, with exceptional wood, a beautiful but subtle Damascus pattern to the barrels, and very fine engraving on most of the metal parts, including hunting dogs with ducks on both locks, and a scene with pheasants on the action. Mr. Shelton discusses and favorably compares Clabrough and Parker’s guns in his book on Clabrough. Dimensions: 48 inches long overall, with 32 inch barrels. Processing and shipping with in the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
