Pair of American Rococo carved and laminated rosewood side chairs, mid 19th century, attrib. to John Henry Belter, New York, in the pattern commonly referred to as "Rosalie with grapes", fruit and floral-carved crest, scrolled crest rail and stiles, floral-carved seat rail, foliate cabriole legs. Condition:

Very good with few scratches and wear, greatest on legs. Good patina from an old refinish. Few filled tackles on back. Small area of veneer lift on one skirt.
