Mae Capone's Decorative French Provincial Dresser

Mae Capone's French Provincial dresser and mirror. Painted cream enamel, a glass covered overhanging conforming top on chest of eight drawers, the face paneled with serpentine form, the drawers with ornate cast brass pulls, a scrolling apron resting upon short cabriole legs. A matching cream enamel serpentine wall mirror with gold enamel liner in non bevelled. Mid 20th century. Bears "Dixie" Furniture Co. mark (Dixie Furniture Co. was founded in 1901 and later became Lexington Home Furnishings).  Dimensions: (dresser) 32.5"h x 61.5"w x 19.75"d; (mirror) 32" x 48" Provenance: Mae Capone to Sonny Capone to his daughters.
