Framed Gold Rush era (circa 1853) letter sheet, "Crossing the Plains" attributed to George Holbrook Baker, published by Barber & Baker, Sacramento. Thirteen images, each captioned, including the emigrant train, Sioux and California Indians, Laramie Peak, Chimney Rock and others. Dimensions: (sight) 10.87"h x 8.12"w; (overall)  15"h x 12.25"w. Abreu Gallery label verso. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $45.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition:

Several horizontal creases noted, most distinct at center.
