Fine J.P. Clabrough 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun

A really fine condition mid-grade Clabrough shotgun, serial number 17306, made in 1883, with damascus barrels, and exceptionally tight and crisp engraving on all metal parts other than the barrels. The stock has exceptional checkering on both wrist and forend. There is a shield shaped escutcheon plate on the underside of the butt. Dimensions: 47 inches long overall, with the barrels being 30 inches. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. 

 

Condition:

Exceptionally nice and clean throughout, with excellent bores, and a tight, crisp action. There are a few minor use marks on the butt, but overall this is an extremely nice gun, beautifully balanced, and in terrific shape. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
