The E. Howard & Co. clock and watch company was formed by Edward Howard and Charles Rice in 1858 after the demise of the Boston Watch Company. Edward Howard was an apprentice of Aaron Willard. E. Howard & Co. was famous for high grade watches, regulators, and marine clocks. E. Howard made five figure 8 clocks with model no. 7 being the second to the largest. It was originally marketed for banks and insurance companies. 

Condition:
