Damascus Double Barreled Parker Bros. 12 Gauge Shotgun

A Parker Bros. of Meridien Connecticut internal hammer double barreled shotgun serial number 71837, made in 1893.  This is an early example of the significant advances Parker Bros. made with internal hammers, and an overall lighter gun. It has Damascus barrels, engraving on the breech and steel mounts, a silver escutcheon plate on the underside of the butt, and checkered pistol grip and forend. Dimensions: 46 inches long overall, with 30 inch barrels. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. 

 

Condition:

Very good, with minor marks on the wood. The Damascus pattern on the barrels is faded, and the metal is overall grey.
