Ceramic, Ruth Rippon (b. 1927), "Que Sera Seurat"

Ruth Rippon (b. 1927) ceramic tabletop tableau of three dimensional figurative scene depicting the artist, Seurat, with paintbrush in hand painting in his studio surrounded by female nude models on a raised base. Two ceramic walls surround the scene (but are movable) with various Seurat paintings (in ceramic) hanging on those walls. Dimensions: 19"h x 24" x 23". Rippon made four such tableaus: Que Sera Seurat, Nitty Magritte, Too Loose Lautrec and Enfant Terrible - Picasso.
